After all, why shed the blood of their lessers when instead they could guide them? There's many ties to mend and emotions to calm, but he believes he can help Mushroomstar set them on the right path. [break][break]Easily his most important relationship is with his sibling, Lavendergaze, who he perceives as needing him. However, they aren't kits anymore, and Lavendergaze doesn't necessarily need the coddling that Toadfeather once gave them - something he's learning more and more, as Lavendergaze finds a future as the next oracle. [attr="class","hh1"]LOOKING FOR [attr="class","blurb2"] - Senior Warriors. Toadfeather has fought for his clan, he's mentored apprentices, he's hunted for the elders and protected kits and queens. And he's done none of this alone. I'd like him too have two or three close friends, around his age or a little older, who fought in Wolfstar's war (even if they didn't agree with it.) Bonus points if there's a cat who can get under his skin a little, since he's so stubborn and proud.
- A New Apprentice. Patient and reassuring, Toadfeather is an excellent mentor, if a little patronizing and cold-hearted at times. It's about time that he had another apprentice to look after. I think it'd be fun if he either had a "mini me", someone who aspires to be like him (even if it's just an ambition thing, like they want to be deputy in the future), or the exact opposite.
- Romance. I'm a sucker for romance even if Toadfeather isn't. Someone who can turn his gaze from duty, make him softer, make him worse. There isn't a wanted ad associated with this (yet) but I'm super open to plotting things!

Mushroomstar has his respect, though not necessarily his confidence. Being invited into the inner circle of RidgeClan's leadership means that Toadfeather now has a unique look into how their leader's mind works, and at times he worries that without him to bring sense into the conversation, Mushroomstar may become too overwhelmed to act. However, he does see him as a friend, and is determined to be the support system he needs to take the proper actions when needed.
[break]  + Eveningstep. Everything that makes Toadfeather who he is can be credited to his mentor, often more like a father-figure than either of his actual parents. Eveningstep's loss is a heavy one. It sits silent in the words he doesn't say, it tinges on the edges of every action he takes. All he can do is live how he thinks his mentor would have wanted, to make sure his beliefs and his strengths are not forgotten as the moons pass.
[break]  + Morninglight. Like Eveningstep, Morninglight was a central figure in Toadfeather's youth. Now, loss hangs heavy between them, making it difficult for Toadfeather to seek out the same guidance and affection he might have as a younger tom. He hopes Morninglight is still proud of him, despite distance growing between them.
[break]  + Shadowgaze. While Toadfeather could not speak positively of Shadowgaze when he was a devout follower of Wolfstar, he can respect the ideals that he perceives them as sharing. Lately, he even thinks Shadowgaze might be acknowledging that though the beliefs Wolfstar held were not necessarily wrong, the methods by which he employed his devotion to StarClan were. He has no idea that Shadowgaze had anything to do with Wolfstar's death, or his opinion of him might be very different. [attr="class","hh1"]NEGATIVE [attr="class","blurbneg"]  - Lavendergaze. Toadfeather's relationship with his sibling is not a healthy one. Co-dependent and hierarchal, patronizing, ego-centric - their bond soured long ago, before either of them were named warriors. Despite this, Toadfeather doesn't view his sibling has a difficult relationship: he loves them, he believes he is watching over them, and he wants to support them. His feelings about Lavendergaze's potential role as oracle in the future he's still working out.
[break]  - Rainstorm. It's not that he doesn't like Rainstorm. But she's young, and her predecessor, from his perspective, gave up before she was ready for the role. He expects her to prove herself to both him and her clan, especially if things take a turn for the worse once again.
[break]  - Laurelfern. Only a coward abandons their clan; and only a idiot thinks they can build a society from scratch with no support. While he may be very careful in how he words his displeasure, he loathes Laurelfern more than he ever disliked Wolfstar. Wolfstar was, at the very least, a loyal RidgeClan warrior to the end. The same cannot be said for Laurelfern. He wants to help promote diplomacy, over violence and judgment; and if that means stepping back from some of RidgeClan's traditions, then he thinks that's worth it to keep balance in the forest. To that end, he is in agreement with cats who believe the clan should not bring back the oracle position, for any reason. [break][break]Foxflight has rekindled his friendship with Silverheart, and has many resurfacing feelings as a result. It's hard for him not to just pour his heart out to him, but he's trying to be good, and most important, good enough, so he holds his tongue. [break][break]Recently, Foxflight fell into the river after catching scent of Littlestar's blood. He will need time to recover from both hypothermia and a cut he sustained when he fell. Silverheart and Foxflight share a lot of mutual friends, so picking up any one of these characters is a great way to connect and plot with Foxflight too.

More than anything, Foxflight wants to be worthy of Silverheart's forgiveness and love. He believes that even now, no other cat knows him the way Silverheart does, and certainly no other cat consumes his thoughts the way he does. For now, they must relearn how to be close again, but he can't help but crave more, imagining a future where they nest together and any rift they ever felt is long forgotten.
[break] + Shadowgaze. It would be easy for another cat to blame Shadowgaze for what happened with Silverheart. But while Foxflight struggles to understand him and his motivations, he can't help but feel that the guilt is his own. He always had a choice - he just made the wrong one. It's not that easy to convince Shadowgaze that there is no bad blood between them, however.

Weaselsong has always been there for Foxflight - full of laughs, bad advice, and every now and then an uncanny ability to see exactly the things Foxflight thinks he's hiding well. He can fully admit that a lot of his resentment toward Alderbranch has passed, but that doesn't mean he ever wants to see him again. Though she carries herself with a grace that rubbed off on her from her time away from the clan, she still has the nimbleness and practicality of a clan-cat, and she tends to prove that to her clan mates with actions, not words. With ideals of being a mother herself, she can often be found around the nursery, helping queens catch much needed breaks and making sure boisterous kits don't wander too far off. [break][break]Like much of the forest, Frostfeather doesn't trust RidgeClan, but the Kingdom worries her to an even greater extent. It's hard to believe that an upstart group of cats won't disrupt the very precarious balance the clans are attempting to find, and it's even harder to trust their motivations. Her loyalty remains firmly with MistClan, even if it might be easier to start again outside of the clans. [attr="class","hh1"]LOOKING FOR [attr="class","blurb2"] - Romance. Frostfeather is not the easiest cat to know. She's very reserved and cautious about how much of herself she invests in her clan mates, despite being loyal to them. That said, she does desire companionship and would warm to a cat that put in the effort to tear her walls down.
- Outsiders. Frostfeather would likely feel a kinship with any cats of her clan who, for whatever reason, feel like outsiders. Maybe they came from another clan, maybe they were born clanless, maybe they just don't fit in. Even if they don't speak much, she would internally feel closer to them than to the others.

After everything she's experienced family is deeply important to her and she intends to do everything she can to protect and support him. Even if that means being the voice of reason during difficult, often personal, decisions.
[break]  + Riversong. As the mother of Hailstar's kits (or so they say, anyway), Frostfeather feels very warm toward Riversong. Because she's never had kits of her own, she enjoys the opportunity to help watch over Cloudkit, Swankit, Stormkit, and Dewkit. However, Frostfeather isn't naive, and she can tell that Riversong isn't being entirely upfront about something.
[break]  + Luna. Luna was her best and really only friend during her time with two-legs. It's not unreasonable to say she feels love for her and would have accepted her as her brother's mate. Sometimes, she feels a little bad for driving them apart, but she knows Hailstar never would have been accepted as leader if he ran off with a kittypet, and Luna never would have grown comfortable in clan life. She believes she protected them, even if it isn't a nice feeling. [attr="class","hh1"]NEGATIVE [attr="class","blurbneg"]  - Various. Frostfeather really isn't emotionally available enough to have strong rivals. Besides that, she tends to take a kill them with kindness approach, not out of being a particularly loving cat, but because it usually works. That said, there's definitely cats in MistClan that don't fully see her as one of them due to her time as a kittypet, despite being born and raised a clan cat. He's quieter, (mostly) polite, and often mulling things over in his head rather than making any splashes socially. By nature, he's prone to jealousy and holding grudges, which means he'll likely make some lifelong rivalries before he's named a warrior. [break][break]Swankit has no idea that Hailstar isn't his father. If he found it, it probably would be more of a relief than a betrayal, though he would keep it secret and probably have very little interest in learning anything about his real father. He wouldn't want to be perceived as having mixed loyalties when MistClan is all he has ever known. [attr="class","hh1"]LOOKING FOR [attr="class","blurb2"] - Friends. As a kit, much of Swankit's social time is spent with Cloudkit. However, as an apprentice he'll probably have more reserved friends. Younger cats who aren't necessarily rambunctious, more his speed. He's also probably friendly with the elders, since he doesn't mind sitting and listening to their wisdom.
- Rivals. Any cat around his age who might not like his attitude or is jealous of any perceived status of being one of Hailstar's kits. I imagine Swankit, especially as an apprentice, will have more rivals than friends.

Swankit admires Cloudkit. They are everything he wishes he was: outgoing, brave, confident. They move through the nursery, and will later move through the apprentice den, with such ease, while Swankit struggles to feel the same inner strength no matter how much he wants it. He's a little jealous, at times, but he hopes that by proximity to Cloudkit some of their energy will rub off on him.
[break] + Riversong. Like many kits, Swankit both feels a bond to his mother and also has a streak of willful independence that makes him eager to join the apprentices den in the coming moons.
[break]  + Hailstar. Hailstar is a legacy, not a father. Swankit feels a lot of pressure under the expectations of being the leader's son. However, he's had only positive interactions with him, so he's willing to try to meet those expectations, rather than shoulder them as a burden. Stormkit is energetic in a way that gets on Swankit's nerves. Despite differences in sociability they're also quite similar, which may be part of why Swankit doesn't like her.
[break]  - Dewkit. It's hard for Swankit to accept that he's related to Dewkit. He perceives him as weak, lacking, and lesser than himself and Cloudkit. Given the option, he prefers to ignore Dewkit, even if sometimes he feels a familial obligation to check in on him. Whatever the rest of the clans are doing is second to what they need. His priorities haven't changed from when he was an apprentice: he still wants to find out where Brightpaw came from and where Owlpaw went (even if the two of them don't really want to talk about it), he still wants to make sure he, Owlpaw, Dustpaw, and [Lucas Sinclair] are friends for life, he still thinks Shadowpaw is awesome, and he still doesn't fully trust Sparkpaw. Is that because he's worried his friends might like Sparkpaw better than him? No. That's ridiculous. He just wants to make sure she cares for the rest of them the same way they care about and protect each other. [break][break]Overall, Darkflame is an optimistic and compassionate cat who can be a little stupid and self-centered at times. And like all young, selfish cats he has romance on the brain. At the moment, he thinks his future is with Brightpaw, and that they'll end up together because that seems like the obvious path their friendship is taking. But in time, he might find that the cat he really wants to be with has been hiding in plain sight. [attr="class","hh1"]LOOKING FOR [attr="class","blurb2"] - Hollypaw Holly- is Darkflame's sibling, the same as he is. At this point she's likely a warrior too. Her personality is really open ended and she has her own circle of friends the same way Darkflame has his friends, with very little crossover. In many ways they're living entirely separate lives, but at heart they are still siblings.

Darkfire is fiercely protective over Brightfire; in fact, he feels so much for her that he was convinced that it must be love. He could see it clearly: they would be named warriors together, they would start a family together, just as his parents had. Brightfire has different ideas, so at some point he's going to have to accept that the feelings he had for her were those of a strong friendship.
[break]  + Owlpaw. While all of Darkflame's friendships are important to him, there's something special about his friendship with Owlpaw. Something beyond friendship, even. If only there was a word for this feeling that he could think of...
[break]  + Dustpaw. Dustpaw is reliable. It's one of Darkflame's favorite things about him. They share an impulsiveness that can lead them into trouble - but usually it's the fun kind of trouble that apprentices get up to, nothing dangerous. He appreciates his friendship, and that they mutually agree that Shadowpaw did nothing wrong, and that he didn't rat him out when he was trying to protect Brightpaw. (But he fully doesn't believe he's romancing some she-cat from another clan. That's too wild.) [attr="class","hh1"]NEGATIVE [attr="class","blurbneg"]  - Sparkpaw. He's jealous because he perceives everyone thinking Sparkpaw is cooler than he is. He notices Brightpaw being her friend, and definitely notices [Lucas Sinclair] really wanting her attention, and feels like it's pulling them away from him. Honestly? He needs to get over it. But in the mean time he'll be a little stubborn about it.
[break]  - Mousestep. It's not exactly that he has a negative relationship with Mousestep, but Darkflame struggles to connect with his family and bickers with her in a very younger sibling way. Ultimately, there's a lot of care underneath it all. He just needs time to mature enough to see it and accept it.
