BACKGROUND: Ashtail is Cinderflame's sister and only living relative. They were incredibly close growing up, partially due to the loss of their parents. Both she and Cinderflame have a deep love for their parents. Recently, she and Cinderflame have grown apart because she aligns with Uranus and is perhaps edging towards Pluto. She thinks her brother is foolish to have so much faith in StarClan after they had taken so much from them in kithood.

BACKGROUND: Dapplefang is the grandparent of Shadepaw, Nightpaw, Blazepaw, Graypaw, and Thornpaw, as well as parent of Lizardtail, Lightningstep, and Yarrowflight. She is a defiant, xenophobic Mars aligned cat and not only was a loyal supporter of Wolfstar but also an avid fan of his clan superiority views; she was well-respected but not a well-liked warrior before wooing the stalwart Shadestone and moving permanently into the nursery after her first litter. The tortoiseshell tabby doled out moons of strict parenting on generations of wayward and unsupervised kits and unapologetically rubbed many of their mothers/parents the wrong way as they did so. When their beloved Shadestone – because, if nothing else, Dapplefang did adore him – died in Wolfstar’s attack on Mistclan, she made the move to retire to the elders’ den far earlier than necessary, perhaps thinking they’d soon perish of broken heart… Unfortunately, that was not the case and her broken heart simply soured her very existence. When scandal struck the family in the form of their least favorite kit, Yarrowflight, having kits with their precious Lizardtail’s mate, Dapplefang was ready to do damage control… at least, until Thrushleap and their other daughter ran away, leaving Lizardtail alone with three kits and two mistakes behind in the nursery. Nowadays, Dapplefang is trying to keep their real family together, in honor of their beloved mate’s legacy, while putting as much distance between the horrid duo of Nightpaw and Shadepaw and the rest of her kin as possible.

BACKGROUND: Eaglefang is Whisperingwind's mate and Spottedpaw's father. He is a bit of an oafish tom but he's a responsible cat & a loyal, and capable, Mistclan Warrior. He loves his mate and daughter dearly and would do anything for them. He had several close calls in meeting Starclan early while defending his clan from Ridgeclan's invasion, but unlike his mate, he is of a forgiving nature and willing to meet the new Ridgeclan deserters with an open mind. He trusts Hailstar's judgment and doesn't believe he'd willingly let dangerous cats into the clan. He met Whisperingwind as a young warrior and the two are happy together despite butting their heads on several topics. Despite their heavy loss in their first litter, as Spottedpaw grows older they have begun talks about having another litter. He falls under the branches ideology.

BACKGROUND: Whisperingwind is Eaglefang’s mate and Spottedpaw's mother. An intellectual and sagacious type from the beginning it was often a wonder to many that Whisperingkit walked the path of the warrior when she got out of the nursery. While she did study under Nightheart there was no doubting she had a warrior's spirit. She met Eaglefang as a young warrior and the two are happy together despite butting their heads on several topics. She nearly lost her mate due to Ridgeclan’s attack on Mistclan while she was in the nursery with their one surviving kit. She currently holds a grudge against Ridgeclan for said attack and looks on those who fled Ridgeclan for Mistclan with distrust despite her mate and daughter trying to help her see otherwise. Slowly she is warming up to some of them, but just barely. While she doesn't not outright snub them, she's unsure if all of their intentions are genuine. Despite their heavy loss in their first litter, as Spottedpaw grows older they have begun talks about having another litter. She falls under the roots ideology.

BACKGROUND: Swiftwind is the child of Silverstripe and Sparrowflight. His mother didn't really want the "queen" lifestyle, so as soon as she could, she abandoned her litter. Sparrowflight, being loyal to his mate, also did the same. Swiftpaw, at the time, was assigned to Houndjaw, a newcomer to the clan. Their relationship became strong, as they viewed each other as big brother/little brother, and Swiftpaw excelled in his training. Now, as Swiftwind, he enjoys serving his clan, but will never miss his chance to be lazy and relax the day away. He is still really close to Houndjaw and has an apprentice of his own in Heronpaw.

Stoatfang

NAME: Stoatfang

SUFFIX: His well-rounded skills in both combat and hunting.
APPEARANCE: A tall, long tome with lean muscle and a curly pelt, colored and patterned the same as a stoat. He's stronger than he looks, and extremely disciplined in his fitness.

BACKGROUND: Stoatfang's father lives in the elder's den. His mother died after a fight with a fisher, her wounds becoming infected until she passed. He has two sisters, both younger. He had a mate for a short time, but they went up in smoke, his calculating, harsh way of being eventually getting the better of their relationship. He has no children (that he is aware of). Through the years, he was close to Sunstorm through growing up and their training. He had one apprentice at the age of twenty moons, and they grew to be an exceptional warrior (or guardian). His next apprentice was Dawnclaw, the match heavily suggested to Wolfstar by Sunstorm. Stoatfang was as hard on Dawnclaw as he was on his first apprentice. Not cruel, but certainly unforgiving of mistakes and pushed every limit. He and Dawnclaw never became close, but they share a certain comradery between a superior officer and the soldier under his charge.
