Though coming from a long line of PrairieClan cats, Violetkit does stand as an outlier of coats. Unlike the common furs of calico, white and orange, she instead bears a lovely blue which she does her best to take care of. Knowing that she comes from a very proud ancestry, she knows that appearances therefore matter, and she will even be sure to learn how to emerge from tunnels looking as good as a cat can after spending time underground.

The young cat carries herself with a fair amount of grace and elegance, as though she already serves as the leader of PrairieClan, despite her age. She easily manages to take up space despite her smaller stature as a kit, and will grow into allowing her presence to be known simply by being in the same area as another cat. She is rarely found slouching or holding herself in any way that would be seen as lazy or unbecoming, even in the way she plays and tumbles around with other kits, unbothered by the idea of taking up the room she feels that she deserves.

Violetkit inherits her light green eyes from her mother, Hollynose, something her father loves to point out whenever he's doting her with any sort of attention. They often have a soft appearance to them, as she tries to emulate an inviting gaze so that cats may feel comfortable enough around her to trust her with whatever may worry them.

Violetkit was born first in a litter of three alongside her two sisters, Asterkit and Wisteriakit, to proud PrarieClan warriors Burdockfoot and Hollynose.

The litter's parents came from a long line of old PrairieClan families, taking a heavy hand in the political workings of the Clans. Their father, Burdockfoot, came from some of the original tunnelers from generations ago, and their mother, Hollynose, coming from great warriors, many of whom dedicated their lives to herbalism. Because of this, the litter was given high expectations even from an early age, expecting them to match with suitable mates and place their mark on PrairieClan history.

From the get-go, Violetkit and Asterkit always seemed to be at odds, butting heads and competing for everything. From their parents' attention to who got the best bite out of the juciest squirrel they could find in the fresh-kill pile. Their arguments over who got to play leader in their games would often go on for so long that the game would rarely even start. On the other hand, Violetkit was much closer with the youngest of the litter, the runt Wisteriakit. Where she would fight with Asterkit, she would share with Wisteriakit. Where she would refuse to let Asterkit win, she would gladly allow Wisteriakit to take what she pleased.

Even as a kit, Violetkit knew she wanted to do great things and become just as influential in the politics of PrairieClan as her family, and knew the best way to do that was to follow her family's desires. With that, she was fortunate enough that Dapplefern, sister to Cinderstar, had also recently had a litter of three on half a moon prior: Applekit, Pearkit and Plumkit. She bonded rather quickly with Pearkit, and when some queens joked that the two of them would one day become mates, she did not correct them. She knew her parents would certainly approve of her becoming mates with the nephew of Cinderstar, even if she admitted to herself she didn't like Pearkit like that. Regardless, she liked him more than well enough to become close friends, excited to have a friend outside her immediate familial circle.

Pre-Plotting: Adopted from Tor's ad for a best friend for Pearkit and a future crush for Dark-kit. Her mother, Hollynose, also comes from Swanflower's family (ad here), meaning that Violetkit falls into an extension of that family tree.

As she gets older, she will fit into the Amaryllis plot role, often feeling that there is more strength in the families that have made PrairieClan what it is rather than always relying on outsiders.

Family: Violetkit comes from a long lineage of PrairieClan cats, with her parents both steeped deeply into the politics of the Clans. They want to see Violetkit with a good mate, so that she can continue the great lineage of cats and have set her up with very high expectations.

Romance: While Violetkit does not have any intentions of romance on the forefront of her mind, she has claimed Pearkit as her future mate to satisfy her parents' desires for her to have a good mate as she knows they will be thrilled with the choice of Cinderstar's nephew. Unfortunately, she does not actually hold any feelings of romance towards Pearkit.
