appearance
A fluffy, orange-and-black calico she-cat with white markings and gray eyes
Being a kittypet, her form was kept in high maintenance. Regular vet visits and a premium diet kept her at a healthy statue and form. Regardless, she is slightly curvy around the edges, rather than angular. Her form is likely to change once she is adjusted to life in the wild, but for now, she is a pretty lil' thing to look at. Compared to other cats, she is rather short.
Canary is a wonderful calico with oranges, browns, whites, and blacks splashed all along her coat. In addition, her tabby markings that compliment each of her tones help her pop against the normalcy of other cats. Her tail is bushy and bright, often lowered due to her cowardly behavior, however. Her eyes are a hazel-gray, not showing any real color, despite being able to show every emotion that she is feeling.
Currently, she is sick with infection due to her injuries from an attacking PrairieClan partol.

stray [0 moons to 2 moons]
First, there was the hard ground under her. With what she could assume was another kit, her sibling nestled beside her. It was cold damp where she crawled. But all she knew was Momma was there.
Then, lots of loud noises. Her ears and eyes were still tight, but she felt her and her brother in a hard, moving contraption. Where was Mother?
Then, another place is where they were put. It had a soft floor, but the walls were cold and hard. Then Momma! She was finally put with them again. Shortly, that is when her eyes began to open, and she could hear her Mom.
"A shelter," is what her mom calls this place. There are so many other cats crying out. Some in pain, some wanting attention. But every cat, every single one, wanted to get out.
"But, Momma, why do we have to be nice to the Twolegs? You hiss at them every time that they stick their hand in here," her brother mewed.
"Because you all have a chance at a great life with the Twolegs. Me? Not so much. Twolegs would never trust a wild cat like me. I'm just looking out for you both, my children. They will take care of you," Momma meowed, with a hint of sadness. Is that why Momma never gave them names? Because she knew that her and her brother would not be joining her in the wild?
As soon as the kits were weaned, Momma went away. She heard the Twolegs say something that she was already "fixed" and could return back to her home. She missed Momma.
Then, the introduction to Twolegs. Her brother embraced the words spoken of Momma, but she didn't. She spat, hissed, and clawed the Twolegs. But eventually, they wore her out, and she began to get attached to one Twoleg. She wasn't there all the time, just every once in a while.
Then, after they were acclimated to humans, they were available for adoption. Her brother's loving personality was no contest against her reclusiveness, as he was swooped up by a male Twoleg. "I'm gonna name you Popcorn!" squealed the Twoleg kit, before he took Brother away.
Suddenly, one day, she saw her favorite human at the door of her cage. "Mom and Dad finally said I could adopt you! Come on, girl!"
kittypet [2 moons to 28 moons]
Canary. It said her name right on the collar around her neck. Her Twoleg, Whitney, knew how to pick a good name.
As the years went on, Whitney was her best friend. Whitney, being a shy girl herself, knew what it was like to want to be alone. When Canary needed space, Whitney knew. And when Whitney needed space, Canary knew. They were like two peas in a pod.
As she became two years old, however, the Twolegnest that she lived in became more frantic. The two older Twolegs, Whitney's parents, became angry at each other. Almost every night, they would yell and scream at each other. Sometimes, things were thrown.
Whitney would cry when those things happened. Canary would always lay in her lap when she would lay in her bed, trying to silence the cries with her pillow. Whitney's happiness was the only thing that mattered.
One night, things became really bad. It scared Canary, as there were blue and red lights flashing on the window. She hid under Whitney's bed, trying to drown out any noise. Before she knew it, exhaustion caused her to sleep.
She awoke to an empty house, except the male Twoleg. All of Whitney's items were gone. Where did she go?
The male Twoleg, annoyed by Canary's cries, placed her outside and locked the door. For hours, Canary cried outside the door, but the Twoleg didn't answer.
She was hungry and needed to find food. She ran into the forest, desperate to see if she could find any kibble anywhere. But when she returned to the home after no food found, she saw the blue and red lights again. The male Twoleg was being placed in a monster with the lights.
Canary was alone.
loner/rogue [28 moons to present]
She ran into the forest, desperate to find anyone to help her. Before she knew it, she ran straight into another cat.
They were angry, as another cat bounded up. "Hey! What do you think you are doing on PrairieClan territory, kittypet?!"
"I-I-I'm sorry," Canary stumbled, taken aback by the tone. "I don't know where I am, and I'm just trying to find food."
"In our territory? Nah, I don't think so. PrairieClan may be welcoming to outsiders, but we aren't!"
Suddenly, the cats pounced at her. Pain riddled her body as she desperately tried to grab any fur in her claws or mouth. It was useless, really. She never been taught how to fight.
The clan cats left her with wounds all over her body. Her ripped collar laid before her. Blood began to paint the ground red, as she saw her chance to leave before they had the idea of coming back.
Her head grew hot with a fever. It was certain that she had an infection. But she had no knowledge of herbs or even medicine to help her. Silently, she sulked in the shadows of the valley. Hoping, praying, that there would be someone to find her.

Pre-Plotting: Canary fills the role of Morning Glory in Persimmon's wanted ad, let the valleys awake.
In the Clanless plot adoptables, she has the view of Fortitude, with a small hint of Justice. She is cowardly and scared, so she does not have the same intensity those that fall under the Justice adoptable. However, she was wronged by the clans after she had no choice but to leave the Twolegplace, and she wants to see it through that the clans get what they deserve for treating Clanless cats so poorly.
