When Grey arrived in the forest, Hawthorne was the one to show him the ropes. Around the same age, they were fast friends: hunting together, sharing tongues, basking in the same sun. Because Hawthorne was on his own most of his life, too, they really felt that in many ways they only had each other.

At least, until Grey started seeing that odd clan cat that Hawthorne has not met and doesn't particularly trust yet. Hawthorne doesn't really trust any clan cat, or groups in general, without good reason. But he doesn't hate them, either. Mostly, he just wants Grey to be careful, so he doesn't get his heart hurt.

Hawthorne is anywhere from 30 to 40 moons, most likely a brown and black tabby of some sort, and pretty strong and experienced after mostly living on his own. He can be a little abrasive and stubborn, very gruff, with a heart of silver (not gold - sometimes he's kind of a dick but he is trying to do his best for himself and those he cares about.)

Hawthorne occasionally leaves the forest, curious about exploring the world beyond sometimes, but lately has considered spending more time at home. In part, because things are getting tense in the forest again and he's sure Grey could get up to something stupid if he's not there to keep an eye on him.

His family and history are up to the roleplayer so long as they don't conflict with Grey's bio (seen here) and his personality and relationship with Grey is up to the roleplayer's interpretation! He could go a lot of directions in the roleplay, so consider linking him with other wanted ads and plot adoptables if that sounds fun! The only thing that can't change is that he's friendly with Grey and is kinda a rough jock.
