Happy September, Whitewater!! We think we can feel fall coming…hopefully we are rewarded with cooler days and sweater weather soon! For now, we will continue to desperately hang on to our pumpkin lattes through the heat.

We have had so much fun reading everyone’s Tales of the Valley threads! To give everyone a bit more time to continue playing in the past, we will be extending the event until the end of September. Before the end of the month, we will set up a survey for people to vote on their favorite threads for a special edition of October OTMs! You do not have to finish your threads before the end of the month or to be nominated for the voting….WIP threads can be wrapped up at your leisure, so don’t think it’s too late to start a thread!

Next, we have some new areas to thread in:
After such a great reception to the new unclaimed areas that will soon house the Kingdom, we wanted to get some other unclaimed areas that are currently planned to stay neutral! We hope your characters have fun exploring the flower field, the whispering reeds, the old graveyard, the campground, and the twoleg place! These areas are already labeled on our site map.

We have also finalized official burial sites for the other two Clans! RidgeClan isn’t the only one to have a fancy graveyard. PrairieClan’s rosemary hill and MistClan’s ancestor’s grove can now be found within their respective Clan’s territory boards. RidgeClan’s burial site, cairn peak, has also been added as an official roleplay board. These will be added to their Clan's territory pages very soon!

Ya'll asked, so now we answer...we are excited to introduce an optional dice and stat system to Whitewater! More information about this new system can be found HERE. We hope everyone has fun! We are also working on a random event account/system to add to the optional chaos...more details to come soon regarding that! As this stat/dice system is new to the site, it is subject to changes as we fiddle with balances and receive feedback that can help better the experience! 

For our last bit our housekeeping, we are excited to hold our first half-moon gathering for our medicine cats and their apprentices! Similarly to our clan-wide gatherings, we have provided a prompt thread HERE for our doctor cats to respond to and the main thread can be started by any of the medicine cats...just not their apprentices! We won't ask for a certain order of arrival, so feel free to organize your posting order in the discord.
