A slender young tom of medium height with bright eyes always ready to narrow in irritation, most often seen scanning the camp for something interesting to take his attention or shying away from the roughhousing of other kits with clear distaste. Born a mix of light creams and white, it didn't take long for the warm stripes on his coat to surface, very much resembling his mother. Though well groomed and with nice features, the all-too-serious expressions he wears produces the affect of making him appear a little goofy looking to his seniors.

Swankit will never forget he is born to excellence. With no reason to doubt that Hailstar is his father, and though he is not boastful by nature, he holds himself and his family to a standard above the rest of the clan. Of course he and his siblings will be respectable warriors of MistClan. There's no other option. With Cloudkit it's easier for him to believe that, of course - as for Dewkit and Lilykit, well. Someone has to carry the burden of responsibility, even if it's not them.

Though not born distinctly larger than Lilykit or Dewkit, Swankit quickly gained strength and grew at a steady, healthy pace, never quite matching Cloudkit but not so far behind as to be worried. Not one to join in on the fun and games of the nursery so freely, he spends much of his time lingering around the quieter kits until he's baited into playing by Cloudkit. His preferred pastimes, though, include listening to the stories of the elders and collecting leaves from the Sky Tree.

Despite being more often in his own head than not, Swankit is looking forward to warrior training and the ability to learn to provide for his clan. Though his ideals are lofty, this may prove a more troublesome task than he anticipates, as hard-work isn't exactly his preferred way of life, but his mind, if not his heart, is in the right place.

While not as kind at heart as Lilykit, his quiet demeanor easily leads to assumptions that he is well mannered and polite. This isn't exactly untrue, but it doesn't take that much for Swankit to reveal his less desirable qualities: that he's pompous, arrogant, opinionated, and sometimes even a little mean. His unspoken philosophy is simply that it's okay to be judgmental as long as you have the merit and intellect to back it up. And intellect he has in spades. Always more of an observer and a listener than one to take action, he collects knowledge almost as if he's hoarding it for later use.

And though not as boisterous as Cloudkit, that he's so often seen in pair with his sibling means that sometimes he's mistakenly believed to be more outgoing than he is. This perception will change in the future, as he grows and the clan gets to know him better.

He's developing an early tendency to hold a grudge and look down on others, which may be curbed or exacerbated depending on the nature of his mentor.

Pre-Plotting: Swanpaw was born to Riversong and Webfrost, though he believes himself to be Hailstar's son.

Family: Not as sentimental as the rest of his family, Swankit's attachments to them are strong now but over time may be dependent on how well they connect and his path as an apprentice. Of all his family members he has the closest attachment to Cloudkit and Riversong.  

Friends: In the nursery, it's easy for your siblings to be your whole world. But Swankit's ideal friendships are those who can meet life on the same pace he does, but with perhaps a little bit of a warmer outlook. Though he acts above it, he's a bit of a gossip and would be readily pulled into an intimate circle of friends when the time comes.

Romance: Not a consideration now, but in the future his best match would be in many ways his opposite.

Rivals: Easily anyone who he rubs the wrong way, perhaps even his own siblings. In the future he may be competitive with other apprentices and any number of them could be potential rivals. Whether or not he gives them the time of day depends on how much he values their abilities.
