A tall and largely white she-cat with brown tabby splotches and long legs.


Fawnstep matches her namesake well. Wide brown eyes, a soft expression, long legs, and a brown and white coat make up her distinctive appearance. The cute appearance masks a surprising amount of muscle and athletic prowess. Any who underestimate her based on appearances will come to regret their initial observations.

Her coat is short but dense, keeping her warm and dry in her clan's misty forests. Her long legs make her one of the taller in her clan, and let her move swiftly both in the trees and along the ground. 

Tallsong and Hawkscreech were an... interesting match. One named for her charm and ease of personality, the other for his less than idea personality and presence. The two were not officially mates, and they preferred it that way. Though the results of their actions resulted in a litter.

When Tallsong announced her pregnancy and Hawkscreech quickly left camp, it was clear whatever the two had was over. Or over for the time being. Not long after two kits were born, Fawnkit and Brightkit.

There could not have been a more perfect namesake for Fawnkit. While it took a few moons for her to grow from a newborn into a proper kitten, when she did it was clear the she-cat was mostly legs. By the time she was ready to leave the nursery she was taller than many in the clan, including her mentor. 

As a result she spent the first moon or so of her apprenticeship trying to make herself small. She watched those around her, mimicked those who had the fewest amount of eyes on them. Though always watching had its own downsides.

It wasn't lost on her that her mother and father only seemed to spend time together now that she and Brightpaw were apprenticed. The reason why was hardly some great mystery.  Fawnpaw saw the way other families work, saw involved parents working as a team. They viewed their children as blessings. But she knew without having to ask that neither of her parents felt the same.

She wasn't sure if her brother drew the same connection. Unlike her he seemed to be busy making friends. And thankfully for her, these new friends were willing to let her join their group.

Spiderpaw, Prongpaw, and Doepaw were their names. The group are troublesome, always up to some scheme or nonsense that she can't approve of but also can't ignore. More often than not she's in the thick of it, right alongside her friends. 

Pre-Plotting: Fawnstep is adopted from Spiderleap's wanted ad. She is his friend. Additionally she is the sister of Brightsplash and the mother of Oatpaw and Eggpaw.
