Whitewater is a traditional warriors roleplay that is focused on wild clans. As such, purebred cats are not permitted, with some exceptions detailed below.

• Kittypets that have joined the clans. Keep in mind this is rare, and the character's decision will need be justified in their bio.
• Clan cats/rogues/loners with kittypet backgrounds. This is also rare, and connections will need to be justified in their bio.
• Cats that are "inspired by" purebred cats. Using the image of a purebred cat, but the character is not actually that breed.

Hairless cats, due to the nature of survival in the wild, are not permitted.

Cats with disabilities are permitted, as are neurodivergent cats. It is required, however, to be respectful and show in your character's bio and writing that you have done thoughtful research about how this condition affects them and their life.
If it seems that a disability or mental condition are being treated disrespectfully (i.e. for "trauma-porn"), then staff will ask and work with the player to change their character. If the issue continues to persist, the player will be banned.
