flickerheart adopts
In trying to honor her brother's memory, Flickerheart has come down from the mountain and into the misty forest below. She hopes to help Mistclan heal and rebuild in the wake of Wolfstar's pointless aggression and bloodshed.
Flickheart has very little left in the world that is truly hers: no father, no siblings, and no mate (anymore). And what little she does have is divided between her former home, Ridgeclan, and her new one in Mistclan. But both are very dear to her... Because the less you have, the greater you value it.

Spottedfang's prefix and suffix are not open to change, but her image is - all I ask is that she remain some form of calico (her current suggested photo is a silver, dilute calico, but any form of tricolor kitty is welcome); if you want to change the image, all I ask you run it by me first! The individual of "Birds of a Feather" is exceedingly open-ended other than the short blurb found in their section of the ad <3 I also offer pre-plotting roles or ideas with both as well, but those are merely suggestions as well.

Mother of Flickerheart and former Guardian, the small spitfire known as Spottedfang sacrificed her own good health to bring a litter of eight kits into the world... only for six to be stillborn. She is, unsurprisingly, fiercely devoted to her family and having to retire due to her inability to walk from the nursery to medicine den without becoming a wheezy mess was a harsh blow; however, Spottedfang didn't let that slow her down for long. She made friends in the Ridgeclan elders’ den, among those Hemlockheart - the late mother of Dawnclaw and Duskfang, unfortunately the mate of that bastard Sunstorm - as the two shared similar reasons for retiring early. She is not a very religious cat and found Wolfstar far too fanatical for her own tastes - and, when his stupid war killed the love of her life and only son, she became vehemently anti-Wolfstar (which she is to this day). She likely falls somewhere around the Saturn mentality, not quite Mars since she encouraged her own daughter to abandon Ridgeclan to join Mistclan for her own good (and to get Flickerheart away from Firetongue). She never liked Firetongue and his family - the whole lot of them are rotten to the core in her opinion - and she is openly antagonistic towards Flickerheart's ex-mate now that her daughter isn’t around. She makes a point to go to every gathering in order to see her only surviving kit and, because she knows Firetongue hates it, Spottedfang gladly endorses her daughter's friendship with Birds of a Feather (below).  | BIRDS OF A FEATHER | taken This cat (new or pre-existing) is very similar to Flickerheart; both of them are morally gray and hero-coded personalities and have suffered great loss in the past. The two have only recently found kindred spirits in one another and become friends, perhaps due to hesitantce on this cat’s part, but now they’ve come to realize that Flickerheart's intentions of helping Mistclan heal are true. They are a relief in a clan of suspicious, hurt cats and the pair are growing closer with each moon as passes. Flickerheart finally feels like she has a true friend from/in Mistclan and a chance at a bit of happiness of her own... but on the other side of the river, a certain red tom is less than pleased with this development.
