appearance
a shiny, albino cat with dull, red-blue eyes
They were nothing special when they were born, perhaps to be even thought as dead. Being the last born of his litter, he was the underdog, the one that wasn't supposed to survive. But he did, somehow... and despite the clan's best wishes nowadays. Her stature still displays the characteristics he was born with as a runt. He seems as fragile as a crane's feather, despite the muscles that are still present on his form. They has rather large paws with even larger claws that have not seemed to have been worn down for quite sometime.
His coat, despite his rank, still stays pretty pristine. Lambfrost takes great care of how they appear to others and wants to make sure to keep a solid first impression. There is no hint of color on their pelt, as they looks like a fresh pile of snow on the ground. Untouched, perfectly perfect. The eyes of the ex-clan cat are blue with a red center, which is attributed to his albinism. It can make it hard for him to see during the day if the sun is too bright, but the night is where they flourish.
description
kithood [0 moons to 6 moons]
"He just... He looks off-putting," said a orange tabby queen, with her tail lashing wildly beside her. "Even my kits are scared of him!"
"Lambkit cannot help what he looks like! Shame on you, Sunstream!" Lionheart hissed, while grooming the white kit in front of him, whose eyes had just opened the day before. "Thank goodness that your ears haven't opened up yet," he cooed, with the tiny kit looking around the packed nursery.
"Little Lamb, you will be just fine," he softly whispered to the runt. Whether it was supposed to be reassurance to a kit that couldn't hear, or reassurance to himself, who knows for sure.
As the kits grew, they loved to hear the stories from the elders. Lionheart's kits were no exception. Mosquitokit, Berrykit, Tigerkit, and Turtlekit were always the ones in the front, admiring the legends and history of the ancestors.
Except... little Lambkit.
After the stories, the little, white kitten would then begin to question the logic of the story, with questions even seeming to point in a non-religious direction. As if StarClan wasn't real.
Lambkit was quickly written off as the weird one by their peers. It became clear that the kits would try to actively avoid playing with him, even with Lambkit trying to join in at first. Not to mention, his bright coat and red eyes made him look like a freak to most of his peers. Despite the obvious bullying by this peers, it became clearer that the white cat didn't mind it. His interest in oracle studies started quickly, despite his father's protests for him to practice hawk hunting.
He had one friend though... Mosquitokit. He was the only one that could set aside the overwhelming desire for popularity to help Lambkit feel normal. It was always greatly appreciated.
apprenticeship [6 moons to 16 moons]
Lambkit is named Lambpaw, alongside Mosquitopaw, Berrypaw, Turtlepaw, and Tigerpaw.
Dovestar gave Lambpaw the mentor of Hawkstrike, a fine, reputable guardian that had guided the clan for many generations. It was rumored that this would be his last apprentice, but the old tom would always strike down those rumors. No one would get to know if he planned to retire soon or not.
The apprenticeship went... okay as it could. Lambpaw had average skills for an average apprentice, despite their awkward size of being tall yet unbuilt. But, they grasped the concepts that their mentor gave to them. However, it became clear to Hawkstrike that Lambpaw started to take an interest into the oracle studies. It was one day that Hawkstrike was gone for the day to help with a fox sighting, and when he came back, he saw his apprentice completely entranced into the lesson that Swiftcloud was teaching.
Hawkstrike cut the apprentice a deal. If they always tried their hardest in training to become better, than they could take lessons from Swiftcloud at the same time. That was the easiest deal Lambpaw made.
It was then that a real difference could be seen in the cat. His intelligence shined through as he quickly grasped all the concepts that were thrown at him. Even if the clan did not like how reserved and isolated they were, especially as their apprenticeship gave him more reason to become alone, they couldn't deny how much the cat had grown into their titles. Their first sermon was only at 9 moons. All the cats of the clan start to think that he is a great student, an even better speaker. While there are still some cats that think he is weird or disturbing, some cats are starting to understand him more.
guardian [12 moons to 19 moons]
While Lambpaw was still continuing their training under Hawkstrike to be a full guardian, Dovestar didn't want to have to keep the ostracized apprentice from not being able to graduate with their siblings. There was no reason to give more reason for their bullying and the snide comments of the clan. Lambpaw was named Lambfrost, for their personality and demeanor. In addition, he was joined by Mosquitoflight, Berryfur, Turtlesong, and Tigerwhisker.
While they completed their training officially at 14 moons. Despite the fact that their training ended late, they was still considerably ahead in aptitude when it came to his smarts. Still, they was often found with the oracle when not forced to go on a patrol.
Hawkstrike, Swiftcloud, and Mosquitoflight were really the only cats they would speak to on a consistent basis. There were likely days that Lambfrost would go without saying a single word. However, when they spoke their sermons to the clan, it was like they had no control over their words. Their charm and charisma shined through as they taught their clanmates about keeping up their faith in StarClan.
The clan would go to the council sometimes with concerns that Lambfrost needed to be monitored, as they had become even more reclusive and secretive. There was even a patrol that caught him one time sleeping at the gravesite, an action that was only done by leaders or the oracle themselves. Swiftcloud had faith, however, that Lambfrost was just a strong student. Some cats, including Berryfur, grew concerned about the albino cat's dedication.
But it all comes crashing down one night.
While they sleeps, something happens. They can't tell what is really going on. However, they wakes in their dream to see a cat in front of them. Their fur was bright orange, but there were no stars around their pelt. This meant that they weren't from StarClan, right? But when the cat spoke, it boomed across the plains in which they stood, and everything was so vibrantly colored. This must be StarClan...
Pineshade was their name. It sounded familiar to the albino cat, but nothing they could recognize off the bat. The cat only spoke in tongues for a moment, before Lambfrost could understand them. "The only way that RidgeClan will survive is if you kill your sister, Turtlesong." They tried to ask for answers to lingering questions. Why Turtlesong? Why must they kill her? But before any were answered, they woke up abruptly.
The clan wrote it off as another day that Lambfrost wouldn't be seen, but he paced in the forest all day long to try to figure out what to do. Of course, it was StarClan's will. There's no reason why he wouldn't be spoke to. Swiftcloud said that StarClan would sometimes choose their next oracle by speaking to them. They had done everything right! They helped their clan with their faith, they were constantly trying to help them... this must be StarClan's will.
Slatefern, the deputy, did raise an eyebrow when Lambfrost asked to be on the evening patrol in the mountains. But, no suspicion was brought up. While rare, Lambfrost did enjoy helping patrols from time to time. It was a patrol made up of Lambfrost, Turtlesong, Viperfall, Frogpaw, and Antlerstrike.
Lambfrost and his sister were asked to go alone to check a hawk nest up the ridge to see if it was fully empty as reported earlier. What a perfect coincidence. StarClan must have planned this perfectly.
Turtlesong was talking sweet nothings, something about her recent love life and wishing Lambfrost would come back to the family. The scents of the other on the patrols finally disappeared, when Lambfrost knocked their sister down to the ground in one swoop. It was clear that they caught her off-guard as the only thing she could let out when she hit the ground was the air in her lungs. Lambfrost stood over her, with their claws digging into her shoulder. The only thing that they remember is looking into their sister's eyes, and hearing her say, "Lambfrost, please don't..."
Birds fluttered away at the sound of her screech, but Lambfrost heard nothing. They stood over her, as still as ice on the river. StarClan, speak to me now. I have done your duty.
The voice never came, as the patrol rounded the corner and saw the horror before them.
"StarClan spoke to me in a dream last moon-high and told me to kill her! It was their will! I would only kill with their wishes in mind!" Lambfrost spoke with confidence, as the clan was outraged next to him. How quickly they turned against them, as if they weren't enamored by his sermons nights before.
"StarClan would have never asked a cat to kill in order to prove themselves as a potential oracle. It's extremely rare, even, for StarClan to speak to a student, let alone ask them to kill," Swiftcloud spoke in front of the whole clan.
How dare they... after all this time, they wouldn't trust their student. A student that was obviously destined to become the successor!
Before he knew it, the verdict was delivered. Dovestar had two warriors lead the albino cat out of camp, damning them to exile. All because of StarClan's will.
rogue [19 moons to present]
The next nights were hard, as they bounced around the territory to avoid being caught by patrols. RidgeClan is all they knew, so they stayed within the lines of the territory. Before long though, they knew it wasn't suitable.
After a while, they found a home at the old gravesite just below the territory. They found shelter in a hollowed-out log near by to aid in protection against the rain. It gave them access to water and places to steal prey from the borders. Enough to survive, they decided. StarClan was obviously giving them blessings to stay alive.
For many moons, they kept themselves isolated. Other than some killings of clan cats and clanless alike, they were losing touch with who they were. Lambfrost wasn't them, it was an identity. Something that StarClan had sent for retribution of the clan's disloyalty. They became more obsessed with the idea of being the messiah of the clans, the liberator of the valley. Lambfrost would be the one to rid the land of sin, the sins that the clans committed.
His hollowed log became his permanent home. Wild scratches in their own language was scratched all around the interior and exterior. Under some moss, they kept a collection of trophies. Claws, teeth, fur, anything that they could grab off their victims before being spotted.
Due to loosing their inner identity, Lambfrost often spoke as if they were speaking of someone else. Being alone "talking" to StarClan had really messed his sense of identity.
With the speaks of the war that happened, Lambfrost only saw it as another reason that the clans are sinful and must be rid of their bloodlines.
He wanted more information about the other clans, knowledge was virtue for them. And that's when they stumbled upon a she-cat named Piper. A pretty, little thing, with a collar so shiny that it could blind. Lambfrost was never one for love, but something kept drawing them back to the kittypet. Piper never judged him. She never spoke ill-willed about their eyes, or their speech, or their anything. An angel perhaps, someone sent from StarClan to provide them with love and a future?
Piper became heavily pregnant with kits, as she ran away from the Twolegnest to be with Lambfrost in the hollowed log. She had heard all the troubles that the clans had cost her friends, and she believed in Lambfrost. However, tragedy was just what the albino cat didn't expect.
Four kits were born, but only one kit made it out alive... including Piper. Her body couldn't handle the amount of bleeding, and with Lambfrost's lack of knowledge of medicine, she perished before they could even do anything. Lambfrost mourned for the mother of their kits, and the only cat that they had some type of romantic feelings toward. But they quickly looked to the small kit that had been born. With their current situation, they could not look after a kit. It would be a death sentence. That's when he heard a voice. "Take the kit to RidgeClan. There, they will thrive and join you one day in battle."
They walked through the forest when they ran into Mosquitoflight. A miracle...
"Lambfrost is here with their only kit. Lambfrost asks if you will take it to the clan to live."
Mosquitoflight had so many emotions. Seeing his sibling for the first time in over forty moons, now with a kit squealing at their paws, knowing they were alive and probably killing so many other RidgeClan cats at the border...
"Lambfrost hopes that Lionheart or Sagestep could raise them."
"Lambfrost... Lionheart is dead. He died in the war. So did Berryfur. Sagestep is too old to take care of a kit." Mosquitoflight paused, seeing Lambfrost's expression remained stoic.
"Lambfrost hopes that... Mosquitoflight... will take the kit. Lambfrost is not in the clans anymore, but Lambfrost knows it is the only way for the kit to survive in the valley. Just do not tell RidgeClan that Lambfrost is the father, and they will not have to know."
Mosquitoflight hesitated, looking between the cat he once knew and the small, frail kit.
In the end, Lambfrost left without the kit in their grasps, as Mosquitoflight bounded away with it toward camp.
The kit is now an apprentice, and Lambfrost hopes nothing more than to reconnect with their young. Whether they have to kill everyone in the forest to get the kit back to them, they will do anything. After all, the "prophecy" says they will join in battle again.
Lambfrost has seen the kit at the border from time to time at a distance, usually with Mosquitoflight. One day, they will talk to them.
The albino cat also ran into a ginger-and-white tom named Foxglove. They have a similar mission, so Lambfrost thinks that he would be a good ally. Sure, they don't really like the cat personally, but they needs to make sure they has cats fighting alongside them... and Foxglove sure has the numbers.
Their child is independent... as they see them at the border alone. Good. Hopefully, they can meet them soon. Then, they would be unstoppable with StarClan on their side...

Pre-Plotting: Lambfrost identifies with the "Justice" plot view within the Clanless plot roles. While he is not an official member of the cabin sect, and doesn't plan to be, he feels strongly about the potential destruction of the clans, believing that they are the liberator for StarClan against the clans for their sins and not following their faith entirely and wholeheartedly. They believe that they are hand-chosen by StarClan and can speak and hear them. However, this is all his "imagination" and due to his obsession with religion.
Lambfrost is also a nibling within Gingerfang's family tree wanted ad, lions and lambs are fighting.
Lambfrost does not have friends or rivals, but rather allies and enemies. StarClan is his ultimate ally, as all others he keeps a distance from.
