hazelstream's adopts
In such a large family, it's an understatement to say Hazelstream is easily overlooked - in fact, its just part of their nature to be so. They prefer it, too; they're more a gentle, shy ray of sunshine - nice and always there but easily forgotten about in the rush of daily life. They've always been the wallflower, the supportive side-character in the colorful cast of their kin.
But they are very family-oriented and would have it no other way.
Click here for Hazelstream's bio! Please DM me if you're interested in anyone. Each sibling has their own section in Hazelstream's bio, so make sure to read it carefully <3
Hazelstream's wanted is a bit different from my others; not only does she have a lot of siblings, but she has extended family areas! Those sections are very open to pre-existing cats or new ones, but limited in the sense that Asterberry and Molebreeze only has so many littermates. Their family tree is in their bio <3
Several of Hazelstream's siblings are adopted - in fact, that only litter without adopted kits in it is their own - and each of them has a bit of pre-planned history how they came to be adopted into Hazelstream's family.
If a cat is open to a name change, it'll be listed on their description. (I tend to be more flexible about suffixes than prefixes, as the latter reflects colors, patterns and/or appearances I prefer). Images are suggestions and links to get a better look at the example used are provided at the end of each adoptable's section; if you want to change the image, all I ask you run it by me first! Unless specifically noted, sex is open for each cat (if gender is open, it will also be noted). I also offer pre-plotting roles or ideas for some cats too, but those are merely suggestions as well.

MATERNAL EXTENDED FAMILY | open
Asterberry comes from a long line of tunnelers, as does her mate's side of the family. Unlike Molebreeze, though, Asterberry's littermates are all blood-kin to her and therefore colors are less flexible. Cousins are also welcome, as its makes complete sense that some of Asterberry's siblings have mates or kits at this point. Colors available: Non-red amabs, silvers/smokes, tortoiseshell or calico afabs, dilutes, chocolate, cinnamon, bicolors |

PATERNAL EXTENDED FAMILY | open
Meadowback and Hawkrose have a heritage of being tunnelers, with only a few warriors to be found here and there. Instead of getting a surrogate sire for their litters, the two mollies however just chose to adopt kits in need of a loving family. Because Molebreeze and his siblings are not blood-related to each other or their mothers, they can honestly look or appear as whatever you'd like! I would just prefer you run their origins by me beforehand! Cousins are also welcome, as it makes complete sense that some of Molebreeze's siblings have mates or kits at this point. Origins...

SPARKTOOTH | reserved
Hazelstream's adopted older brother, son of a friend of Asterberry with an unknown father; when his mother died while kitting, Asterberry and Molebreeze happily added him to the litter they had in the nursery. He is fiercely protective of his younger siblings, though often butts heads with Featherflame on his brother's aggressive defensiveness regarding Hazelstream - while he does agree that their younger sibling is a soft-target, he thinks they deserve some measure of freedom to experience life. The family mother hen, he also struggles to get along with Hornetspring. He either aligns with the Amaryllis or the Thorn mindsets of PC. Image link |
HORNETSPRING | open
The first in a long time to become a warrior instead of a tunneler, Hornetspring is one of Hazelstream's older sisters. She is fiercely independent and very proud, to the point of purposefully distancing herself from her family and their legacy. She gets along best with Palesong, if anyone, and tolerates Briarpaw's attitude because she believes she can convince her youngest sister to not become a tunneler. Very much agrees with Cinderstar's rhetoric about doing away with the tunnels and their corresponding rank, and likely aligns with other cats of the Heather. Had an apprentice that became a tunneler, to her chagrin and embarrassment. Image link |
FEATHERFLAME | open
The runt of his litter, Featherflame is one of Hazelstream's older brother and especially overprotective of them (more so than the rest of his younger siblings). He sees their docile, shy personality and kindness as a type of naivety that will surely get them hurt later in life. He butts heads with Sparktooth over this, though, because he wants to keep Hazelstream from making any mistakes and getting hurt at all, so they can keep their innocent perspective of the world. Where Sparktooth is a supportive soul to lean on, Featherflame is an aggresive defender of the family and is just as short-tempered as Hornetspring because of this; its not uncommon for him and Hornetspring to have an argument every so many days. He likely trusted someone in the past that came back to bite him in the tail; fits well with the Amaryllis or Thorn mentality of PC. Image link |
DUSTYBLOSSOM | open
The other eldest daughter of the family, Dustyblossom stands out amongst her littermates like a sore thumb. Where they are all confident and strong, she is meek and timorous, with a big heart she wears on her sleeve. She has a bit of track record in the clan of falling in love with others too easily, but lacking the willpower to ever speak up; this often combines in the form of heartbreak, as she gives her heart away quite often but then fails to follow through and her LI moves on, mostly none the wiser. She gets along best with Sparktooth from her litter, but tends to seek Frostmask, Sandsplash, and Hazelstream out for company. Image link |
PALESONG | open
The most extroverted of her family, even more so than her own mother, Palesong is often draining for her more introverted family members. Where some would say Hazelstream is a gentle beam of sunshine - there when needed but otherwise easily moved past - Palesong is vibrant, hot sunny day that can either be a relief to the cold or an annoyance to the tired in equal measure. She often forgets herself and has a reputation of not being able to take a hint. Like Hornetspring, she is a warrior, as the tunnels are just far too gloomy for her tastes. Image link |
SANDSPLASH | open
Quiet, stoic, and stalwart, Sandsplash is another independent soul, but more in the sense that he is a loner and does whatever makes him happy. He became a warrior in order to go to the river when he pleases, as in and around the water is where he finds the most joy in life. He is taciturn in the sense that, if he hears something he doesn't like or sees a fight brewing, he walks away from it. If he had to name a cat he was close to in his family, it would be Hazelstream - and, before their death, his grandmothers Meadowback and Hawkrose. He misses the two terribly, but choose to give on his own, in his own way. May align with the Sage mentality. Image link |
FROSTMASK | open
Kicked out of their family group by their fathers (among their siblings) once they were about six moons old, Frost was found by a Prairieclan patrol and later adopted by Asterberry and Molebreeze. They have some trust issues still, but have grown to love their adopted family and are eager to prove they deserve to be part of the clan and their family. They're very close to Hazelstream, as they remind them of one of their missing, blood-littermates before they all split up, and look up to them a lot. They are very close to Mousestep, too, as one of their few friends from his time in the apprentice den. Frostmask has gone out of their way, as best they can, to be friendly and help the clan's refugees settle in comfortably. Image link |
BRIARPAW | open
An only kit until a two or so moons ago, Briarpaw has a lot of growing up to do. Before the arrival of her two new littermates, she got quite comfortable being an only kit and the spotlight of affection that came with that. Sure, she wanted siblings to play with and boss around, but she also couldn't stand the thought of having to share her parent's attentions anymore than she already does; personally, she has always fought to be noticed in a family so large despite being so much younger than her siblings. Now that her parents adopted two clanless cats, Ashpaw and Patchpaw, though, she's rather torn: she finally has cats to play with, to call her littermates, and tell what to do but now she also has to share everyone's attention, especially since the two had such a rough childhood. She's taken on a bratty attitude recently due to this dissonance and tends to push everyone's buttons if she cannot push them around. Very close to Hornetspring and Palesong, tends to hover around Ashpaw and Patchpaw. Image link |
ASHPAW | open
A recent addition to the family, Ashpaw and their sibling Patchpaw have only been with the family for two or so moons. Before that, they lost their mother and barely scraped by before being discovered by Molebreeze in one of the old tunnels and brought home. Where Patchpaw isn't too trusting of others, Ashpaw has tried to make this new life work for them and has cozied up to the pair's new "parents". They are becoming a bit of mama's boy in regards to Asterberry and her maternal nature, but still feels unease at the numerous adoptive siblings they have. Without Patchpaw about, they tend to let Briarpaw push them around. Image link |
PATCHPAW | taken
A recent addition to the family alongside their sibling Ashpaw, they've only been with the family for two or so moons and, frankly, it shows. They keep their distance from their new "parents" and "siblings", finding Briarpaw a bratty/annoying tagalong, and sticks close to Ashpaw. The more dominant personality of the two, they are the reason the two survived as long as they did after their mother's passing. Scrappy, snappy, and resourceful, they do try to connect with Frostmask as another, formerly clanless member of the family, but struggles with how goody-two-shoes and eager they lynxpoint is to fit in. Fits best with the Sage mindset to a degree. Image link |
