Leopardkit was born into drama and destruction. They never got to meet their mother, Dawndapple, for the first time, due to her dying of blood loss right after. The father, Cloudwhisker, was too ashamed and heartbroken by his affair to even look at his kit.

Pigeonscreech, the one that Cloudwhisker had cheated on with Dawndapple, was the only lactating queen in the nursery at the time. Reluctantly, Pigeonscreech took in the small kit, with Shrikekit, Pigeonscreech's blood kit, taking the limelight.

There was nothing that Shrikekit could do wrong, or so it seemed to Leopardkit comparatively. All of Pigeonscreech's attention laid solely on her blood kit. It was always about catering to the needs of the white, fluffy kit. However, the treatment of the adoptive mother towards the adoptive daughter was the complete opposite of the spectrum. Leopardkit would constantly get scolded and verbally yelled at by the queen. There was a few times that Pigeonscreech also batted at the kit's ear for doing something wrong, which resulted in a notched ear at one point. 

Leopardkit tried to stay away from her family as much as she could, so she spent a lot of time outside of the nursery and around the camp. The cats treated them differently than the other kits. They would either look at her with pity in their eyes or disgust unconsciously written on their face. Still, all of the cats in Ridgeclan treated her better and seemed to care more about her wellbeing than the mother that she was forced to receive.

Leopardkit also became close to the other kits that she spent the most time with, such as Antlerkit and Doekit, before they became apprentices before her.

Once Shrikekit became an apprentice one moon before her, the calico liked to be able to only have her adoptive mother to deal with in the nursery.

Leopardkit became Leopardpaw, and they were assigned the mentor of Shadowgaze.

Pre-Plotting: Leopardpaw is an adoptable from Pigeonscreech's history. She is too young at the moment to have any strong feelings toward certain politics of Ridgeclan. The she-cat, who's thoughts are heavily influenced about those around her, would like adopt the plot view of her mentor or close friends. However, it is possible for her to lean towards Uranus more than others. This is due to the fact that she hates Starclan for giving her the life that they did. The only string that has kept her from being completely atheist is her mother, Dawndapple.

Leopardpaw is deeply troubled by the treatment from Pigeonscreech and Cloudwhisker. Having grown up in an environment where they feel as though no one wants them around, it has caused deep feelings of fury and revenge to cloud her mind, even at such a young age. However, Leopardpaw hopes that maybe one day, someone will come around and treat her like family. So, she continues to try to do everything to get their blessings.

Leopardpaw has a jealous attitude toward Shrikepaw, receiving all the attention from their parents. Leopardpaw despises her adoptive sibling, and there is a strong chance that the damage is irreversible.
