how to use
On Whitewater, we require the use of one of our tables for the sake of simplicity and site consistency. Please do not use tables from other sites! Minor modifications to the below templates are allowed. This includes text color/font changes, image changes, and other small aesthetic changes. The template should be recognizably based on the templates below. Please ensure your changes are readable. Staff may ask you to make changes for accessibility reasons. - While you are welcome to store tables in your character's development thread or character hub, some members may find it easier to save templates using the posting template plugin. This makes it easy to quickly pull your character's table from the reply page. Please note that there is unfortunately a limit to the amount of tables that can be stored, so members with a large amount of characters may need to prioritize the tables of their more frequently used characters. 1. Go to Profile > Edit Profile (icon to the right of your username) > Settings Tab 2. Find this text box. It should be under the "Posting Default" section. You may need to hard refresh the page (shift+refresh) for it to show up. 3. Click "create." You will get a pop-up asking you to name the template. The name can be whatever you want, but it can only contain letters. We recommend using the name of the character the template is for! 4. Paste in the mandatory template code. Hit "save templates." Scroll down to the bottom and hit "save account settings." 5. Open up on the reply box. At the bottom, you will see a drop down that contains the templates. Click which template you are using and the coding will appear in the text box. Insert your post and you're good to go! The templates can only be accessed in the full reply, not in quick reply. |
