With long, dense fur and a hardy build, Meadowfern is suited well for life in RidgeClan. She is not particularly large but does have a squareness to her shoulders and torso that indicates the muscles that hide beneath layers of fluff. When she was a kitten, her coat matched what was most typical within RidgeClan as well. Dull tabby fur slowly grew brighter as she aged, her coat finally reaching a mixture of pale creams, golden browns, and soft greys by the time she received her warrior name.

Meadowfern's face has a certain softness to it. Her head is a rounded square atop a mane of pale fur. Her ears are large and tall on her head, tufted in white at the tips. Her nose is black, and dark greys and browns rise from the bridge of her nose - the darkest color on her body. Soft tabby stripes line her face and forehead. Her eyes are softly rounded and hazel in color.

Meadowkit's birth was a prestigious one, born to Cougarcloud and Wolfstar. First born of a litter of four, Meadowkit always felt that her role in the family was to be the protector of her littermates. Whenever they got hurt or sick, she doted on them as closely as their parents, and if ever they got in trouble, she was adamant in defending them.

Her greatest hero was her father. She watched him act with such honor and nobility. He sought a bright future for RidgeClan, an inspiring ideal that drew Meadowkit eagerly to act with an idealized version of her leader as her biggest inspiration. Whenever he was around camp, she quickly became known as his shadow, following him around and mimicking each action he took, and each phrase he said. There was no cat whom she cherished more if only the idea of him that grew perfectly within her naive mind.

Meadowkit never had any problem keeping the reputation of the family. She prided herself in her role as the leader's kit and strove to make him and her mother proud with each action she took. As her siblings grew louder, more independent, and more decisive, Meadowkit found herself more and more drawn to the strict structure of clan life and the warrior code. She was more likely to point out which rules another was breaking than to ever break one herself, occasionally lightheartedly accusing older apprentices and warriors of breaking rules whenever she noticed. Before she even became an apprentice, it was clear that she was destined to be a snitch. She was not popular.


On her 6th moon, Meadowpaw was assigned to a stalwart senior warrior named Spottedstone.

• Duty. Be responsible for your actions and their consequences, protect those entrusted to your care, and obey those who have authority over you.
