Coming from a large family herself, Grayblossom always wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps and be a permaqueen. However, for whatever reason, she was unable to have her first litter until she was 40 moons old. She had her second litter around 10 moons later and after two big litters, decided she was done in the nursery. Though kind, Grayblossom can be a little neglectful, mostly because she never understood the difficulty of caring for so many children at once. In a way, having kits was a status thing for her, rather than a genuine desire to raise children.

Grayblossom should be a predominantly gray she-cat who is able to have kits. She has essentially no relationship with Rainshade (but perceives them as having a good relationship), though may want to change that in her old age. Her mate was Duskflower until he passed from illness several moons ago. All other details about Grayblossom are up to the adopter! This includes name, appearance details, personality, history, reason for not having kits until later in life, etc.

As the firstborn, Junipernose carried the burden of being a second mother to her siblings, especially the ones accidentally neglected by Grayblossom. She likely struggled (or still struggles) with defining herself outside of a pseudo-motherly role. She and Rainshade have a tense relationship, as Rainshade did not appreciate her mothering when all she wanted was Grayblossom's attention.

Junipernose should be a she-cat and embody the "oldest sister" trope. This character is also connected to Rowanheart's wanted ad as a potential cross-clan romance. Please see that ad for details needed to create Junipernose!

Though they would never say it to his face, Grayblossom and Duskflower always thought Darkfur was unremarkable. Like Rainshade, he often blended into the background, never standing out among his siblings or fellow apprentices. Without a deeply caring mentor, like Rainshade had to take care of him, Darkfur now feels withdraw and distanced from his clan. His siblings, especially Rainshade, are the only exception. Darkfur is a great choice for a future Kingdom cat!

Darkfur should be a predominantly black cat. Other than the blurb listed above, his details are flexible! He can be any gender and have any sort of personality or history details. Please consider leaving his suffix as -fur or -pelt to lean into his "unremarkable-ness." His prefix is open to change. 

Like Darkfur and Rainshade, Willowfang is more reserved than the rest of their litter. However, with that reservation comes a quiet, unmatched confidence that helped them stand out as a young apprentice. Willowfang is composed, attentive, and responsible, with a quick sense of humor that makes them fast friends with everyone, even if they don't really want to be.

Willowfang should be a non-binary/masc cat. Their name and appearance are flexible, though they can't be a black cat. They have a strong relationship with Rainshade, though may be tired of being the only one between them who puts work into keeping that relationship strong.

From a young age, Snowstrike proved he would be the loudest cat in his litter. He's obnoxious and outspoken, matched by a demanding ego and inflated sense of self - at least, that's what he wants other cats to think. Though Snowstrike might have once been the confident, playful cat he presents himself as, he's been deeply troubled since Mountainbranch's death, and can't bring himself to seek help. Instead, he festers over the loss of his brother. In time, the facade he puts on will surely crack.

Snowstrike's gender, appearance, name, history, etc. are very flexible! He cannot be a black cat. His personality should line up with the blurb above, but is otherwise up to the adopter. As a note, Snowstrike was (and likely still is) a very popular cat in MistClan, so while he's full of himself, he's never been cruel or unkind (unless by accident).

Grayblossom and Duskflower had one more litter together after this one. Like Rainshade's litter, this second litter was large (four or more cats) and afterwards Grayblossom swore off more kits. This litter would be around 20 moons old, no older than 24 and no younger than 17. The first person to put a cat in this litter decides their age! 

The only requirements for this litter, other than age, is that these cats should be closer to their mother (who treated them better) than their older siblings.

Duskflower had a few litters (at least two) with other cats before asking Grayblossom to be his mate. These cats would be no younger than 37 moons. It's up to you if Duskflower was mated to these cats' mother(s) or if he was asked to sire litters for them. 

Stormgaze is the first born of Rainshade's litter of two. He has a good relationship with his mother and a close bond with his brother, Lynxwhisker. As a recently named warrior of MistClan, Stormgaze is hoping to make a name for himself and live up to the beloved reputation of the parent he never met.

This character is very flexible. Though written as a tom, their gender is completely up to the adopter, as is their name, appearance, personality, etc.! The only requirements are this character does not want to leave MistClan and they cannot be an all white cat.

Lynxwhisker is the runt of Rainshade's litter and spent his early moons in the medicine cat den because of it. Though he recovered, he'll always be a little sickly, and so Rainshade dotes over him in a way he might, at this point, find annoying. Though he loves his mother and brother, sometimes Lynxwhisker thinks they love him far more than he'll ever love them.

This character is very flexible. Though written as a tom, their gender is completely up to the adopter, as is their name, appearance, personality, etc.! The only requirements are this character, for whatever reason, is considering leaving MistClan and they cannot be an all white cat.

Mountainbranch, Rainshade's deceased brother, fathered a litter of two shortly before RidgeClan attacked MistClan's camp. Mothstorm is the firstborn of that litter. They were three moons old when their father died and likely do not remember him.

All details about this character other than the above are flexible. Their opinion on Rainshade is up to the adopter, but because of how close her own children are in age to them, Rainshade certainly would've tried to play an active role in their life as their aunt.

Mountainbranch, Rainshade's deceased brother, fathered a litter of two shortly before RidgeClan attacked MistClan's camp. Nightfur is the secondborn of that litter. They were three moons old when their father died and likely do not remember him.
