Maplefrost was not her first apprentice, and training him was a handful. Always getting in fights with his peer, Redclaw, it caused a lot of emotional drainage on your part. However, once you were able to help the young tom focus his fiery attitude to his duties, much like you had when you were young, you were grateful for the experience to train him. Silverstripe's reaction to Maplefrost becoming the medicine cat (and his subsequent dissociation with the clan) is up to the adopter. Silverstripe is also described as having a bold, aggressive personality. It is implied that Silverstripe has a negative opinion of the tunnels. |

However, once they realized that he wasn't stillborn, they had other questions the following moons. For whatever reason, they were mute. Training as an apprentice was very difficult for Quietpaw at first. Maplefrost was the polar opposite of them, being loud, brash, and aggressive. After one particularly terrible fight with their enemy, Redclaw, it caused utter fear from Quietpaw when it came to their mentor. Maplefrost realized his mistakes with Quietpaw, and began to rekindle their relationship. Now, after graduation, Quietshade and Maplefrost are still a close mentor-apprentice pair. Navigating the world without a voice can be difficult at times, but Quietshade always knows that his mentor will never judge him and takes his ideas and inspirations to heart. Quietshade's reaction to Maplefrost becoming medicine cat (and his subsequent dissociation with the clan) is up to the adopter. Quietshade is also described as having a timid, but kind personality. |
