"a battle-scarred, brown tabby tom with white undersides and green eyes"
While older age is getting to him, the tom is still built like a powerhouse. He has strong shoulders and haunches that help him take off in velocity and pack a punch in combat. Goosefire is an average build, not being too tall or short. He has unusually stained claws, and one broken canine on the left side. On the left side of his face, also, he has a notch taken from his ear. He also has many battle scars along his body from the numerous fights he has gotten into over the years.
Goosefire is a brown tabby with white undersides. His marbling of tabby stripes are thick and long, compared to normal tabbies where they are small and skinny. The tom tries his best to keep his coat clean, but his aging is slowly causing him to not care as much. His eyes are an expressive green color, often associated with the pines that dot around the Ridgeclan mountains.

[0 moons to 6 moons] kithood
The couple were blessed with a huge litter. Four males and one female. It was hard on the she-cat, Nightclaw, but she persevered through the night to have them before dawn. The tom, Berrypelt, was so relieved to have his family all alive, and only a few tears of happiness were shed. They decided to name the toms after birds, which were Hawkkit, Ospreykit, Finchkit, and Goosekit. The only female, after her grandmother on Berrypelt's side, was named Poppykit. It wasn't long before the kits grew up into healthy, small bundles.Ridgeclan was no match for the litter. They would cause chaos and trouble around camp, and there was little peace when they were running around playing. Hawkkit was definitely the ringleader, with Goosekit constantly fighting for a chance to lead. "He's got so much ambition, he will probably be leader one day," all the other cats would whisper about Goosekit. He didn't pay much attention, he was too busy having fun.
One night, Berrypelt was up with Goosekit, who refused to sleep due to having too much energy. "Goosekit, you know why you are my favorite?"
"Why's that, Papa?" The small kit mewed.
"Because I can tell you are destined to make history."
---------------------
[6 moons to 12 moons] apprenticeship
All the kits were named apprentices, and given a new name accordingly. Goosepaw was given the mentor of Redflight, a spunky, energetic she-cat that gave the adolescent a run for his money. It was during his apprenticeship that he experienced his first death. At least, the first death that meant something to him. Finchpaw had climbed too high to show off to the party of mentors and apprentices. A hawk in the tree, unknown to those nearby, had scared the adolescent. The hawk picked up the apprentice up in his talons, and ripped the cat to shreds.
"Do you want to end up like Finchpaw?" The orange tabby spoke.
"W-What?" the young Goosepaw stumbled, shocked from what he heard from his mentor.
"You keep acting arrogant, loud, always boasting to the other apprentices. Just like your brother."
Redflight was right. Ever since his father and others had praised him for who he was, the way that he carried himself, he loved the attention that he got from being good. Good at tracking, good at hunting, excellent at fighting.
"If you keep letting your mouth do the talking, you will end up dead," the she-cat hissed, before walking away from the training session.
The tom sat down a big squirrel that he had managed to catch during the hunting session that day. It would be good for him to eat, but he had already snuck a mouse before anyone had woken up.
"Excuse me!" a she-cat mewed behind him, as he looked toward the direction. A beautiful, black apprentice was behind him. Dustpaw. She was a real heartthrob of the apprentice den, but Goosepaw didn't pay no mind to her. She was simply competition. "Excuse yourself," he hissed, before he moved out of the way.
At the end of his apprenticeship, Goosepaw got close to another apprentice named Badgerpaw. Badgerpaw was different than him, as Badgerpaw was more social and lively. It gave Goosepaw an advantage to be his friend, since it gave him more connections to his clanmates.
Goosepaw passed his warrior assessment with flying colors.
---------------------
[12 moons to 30 moons] warrior pt. 1
Goosepaw was given his warrior name, Goosefire. Alongside him, warrior names were given to Badgertalon, Hawkstrike, Poppynose, and Ospreystep.
Warrior life, at least in the beginning, was pretty normal for the tom. All the cats respected him as a noble warrior (at least in the eyes of his clan), putting Ridgeclan first before anything. However, with each high rank getting passed to another cat, he grew envious. He wouldn't dare act out or kill his clanmates over this, but Goosefire would still show his resentment.
Dustflower began to talk to the tom, even with his grumpy and bitter comments toward her. He continued to talk down to her, but she always came back to him.
At 16 moons, Goosefire was given his first apprentice, Pigeonpaw.
"You know she likes you." The black and white tom spoke to Goosefire.
"I don't know what you are talking about."
Badgertalon continued, "Yes, you do. You just keep ignoring her. I think you would be a good couple."
"I don't have a desire to have a family. I have a desire to have glory."
Pigeonpaw was given her warrior name, Pigeonscreech, when he was 22 moons.
Berrypelt passed away when Goosefire was around 25 moons. It was a humble reality to the son. Nothing lasts forever, and your legacy is in the hands of those that come after you by blood.
Goosefire begins to make conversation with Dustflower. It's super awkward and uncomfortable, but the she-cat can't help but be charmed by his mysterious nature.
---------------------
[31 moons to 60 moons] warrior pt 2
Goosefire and Dustflower continued to talk. It was shocking to the male when he actually started to open up to the other she-cat.
By 42 moons, the tom had actually started to feel things for Dustflower. Things that he never imagined. He asked her to be his mate, and she agreed. It wasn't but a moon later that she announced her pregnancy.
Dustflower passed away after giving birth to their only kit. She didn't suffer too much blood loss, or anything. It just seemed as if it was time for her to go. Goosefire couldn't believe what had happened. The whole camp could hear his cries that night as he paced around the camp. He didn't know what to do. However, as soon as he was able to see his son, who was in critical care for the night that he was born, love was the only thing that he could describe for his kit. The tom decided to continue on the legacy of bird names in the family, and he named his kit Heronkit. A queen took Heronkit in to be able to nurse and have a mother figure.
At 45 moons, Goosefire was given another apprentice, Cloverpaw. Cloverpaw was a skittish, sensitive she-cat that took a lot of time and effort from the tom. When the apprentice began to dig into the time that he had with his kit, that's when Goosefire snapped. He attacked Cloverpaw when they were alone, and screamed for them to run away, as they would never be able to be a true warrior. Cloverpaw was too scared, and ran away, presumably to live a loner life.
Heronkit was growing up too fast. Goosefire again realized how precious time was.
At 49 moons, Heronkit became known as Heronpaw. Goosefire had never been seen so happy, besides when Dustflower was alive.
At 50 moons, Goosefire became a mentor once again to a spitfire tom named Flamepaw.
At 55 moons, Heronpaw became Heronfeather. The tom was just as brash and cunning as his father.
At 55 moons, Goosefire listened to Wolfstar's plans. He became an immediate subscriber to the ideals that the tom had. Goosefire was ready to bring Ridgeclan to glory.
---------------------
[60 moons to 70 moons] warrior pt 3
The attack was launched on Mistclan. Goosefire went into battle with his siblings, son, and apprentice. He was part of the second battle patrol, as he ran into the already-ensuing fight. However, it wasn't long until Prairieclan stormed the camp from traveling in the tunnels. Goosefire immediately knew that this was not a fight they were going to win. He managed to find his son as the retreat call was made. "Son, there will be another time for revenge," he simply spoke, trying to control his voice above the cries. They both ran back to Ridgeclan.Goosefire and Heronfeather managed to escape the battle with minor injuries. Heronfeather had a distinguishable scar on his right eye, but nothing that impacted his vision. Goosefire had a notch taken from his right ear and a couple minor scars on his shoulders.
However, as he looked around the retreat parties, it became clear to him who was lost in battle. Poppynose. Badgertalon.
At 62 moons, Flamepaw became Flamemask, due to the scars on his face from the war looking like a torn mask showing his skin.
At 63 moons, after speaking with Heronfeather, Goosefire had decided to go to Mistclan to try to join. He couldn't see his clan fall, and he was going to make sure of it...
He was accepted into the ranks of Mistclan.
Goosefire began to make pleasantries and relationships with the foreign clan, so that they could gain his trust. However, he planned to use it to his advantage.
He met with Heronfeather to exchange information. Heronfeather would give information on the morale of Ridgeclan... Goosefire would give him information on the weaknesses of Mistclan.
The only problem... Heronfeather has went missing for a few moons. It is unknown to Goosefire where his son is. But all he knows... he's got to find an informant from Ridgeclan to tell all this information to.

Pre-Plotting: Goosefire identifies with both the Leaves and Birch plot adoptables for Mistclan. His connection to Leaves is very loose, as he believes that Mistclan needs to change... by destruction. He wants nothing more than to continue the legacy that Wolfstar set out on before his death. He is power-hungry for his birth clan and wants to bring them to glory. Goosefire is more than happy to relay information about Mistclan to Ridgeclan. Anything to help his homeland.
When it comes to love, Dustflower will always be his love. Goosefire will fully admit to any other she-cat that he will choose Dustflower over them when he gets to Starclan. However, his charm can still captivate any she-cat to believe that she can change his mind. As long as the she-cat is aware that even if she is labeled as his "mate", he will do anything to carry his legacy on, he's happy. Overall, his goal is to continue to have litters with other cats, to be able to carry his legacy beyond his death. Even if that means that he will break all the she-cat's hearts in the process.
