Disgruntled with the state of RidgeClan after Wolfstar’s rule, Laurelfern had a vision of a better life. She collected a small group of her clanmates who also thought RidgeClan was irredeemable and led them to the mountains. Together, they built The Kingdom, where they value originality, benevolence, and equanimity in all those who join them. The Kingdom welcomes anyone and everyone, whether they were once a rogue or have a history as a clan cat or have even known the comfortable life of a kittypet.
New to the valley, The Kingdom still has much growing to do. There’s many tasks to be tackled and one of the more major ones is forming peaceful relationships with the clans. It won’t be easy to do so since not all clan cats approve of The Kingdom’s creation, like those in RidgeClan who might feel betrayed by the abandonment of their clanmates. With some members of The Kingdom believing the clans are horribly flawed and should disband before another Wolfstar rises to power, it’ll be even harder to establish harmony.
Some cats of The Kingdom don’t have a problem with the clans, or have been able to move past their issues with them, and think all groups can live in tranquility together. Complete amity between the clans and The Kingdom is not impossible to achieve. There are also cats who have chosen not to align themself with either extreme opinion of the clans and instead, have decided to remain neutral. There are those who claim that to stay impartial is to pick the rival side, but some cats just don’t want to be involved in the drama.

 | LADYBUG | ∞ Ladybugs dislike, or even hate, the clans. They might have been wronged by the clans at some point or just don’t agree with their values, but either way, these cats probably want nothing more than to live a life free of the clans. Some Ladybugs are rather loud about their hatred for the clans, but others prefer to be more subtle about it or even hide it. These cats want something to be done, whether it be launching an attack against the clans or even just closing The Kingdom’s borders. A few might even choose to do something about the clans themselves, without informing The Council of their plans, while other cats might make their opinion of the clans, and possibly whatever plans they have, very clear. |
 | BUMBLEBEE | ∞ Bumblebees are neutral regarding the clans. They either genuinely don’t mind the clans at all, are indecisive or still forming an opinion on the matter, or they just prefer not to pick sides. Whichever reason, these cats have chosen to remain impartial. Bumblebees probably don’t think of the clans as threats, but they also don’t think of them as friends. Chances are, a majority of those who align with Bumblebee have very little experience with the clans, which is why they don’t have a very strong opinion of them. However, it’s also entirely possible for a cat who knows the clans well to just want nothing to do with them. Bumblebees may not feel strongly about the clans, but they care very much about The Kingdom and its future as the clans’ neighbor. |
 | DRAGONFLY | ∞ Dragonflies are quite fond of the clans. They could’ve been a clan cat before joining The Kingdom or been a barn cat, or just have had positive experiences with them. These cats may have wanted to build something great or maybe they wanted to start again somewhere new, but whatever their motives were, they chose to become part of The Kingdom. Kindness is important to Dragonflies. They’re amiable toward The Kingdom’s neighbors and their friendliness is always genuine. These cats are happy to exchange pleasantries at the border and they rush to interact with other cats at a Gathering. Kindliness is often viewed as a weakness, but Dragonflies don’t see it as such. To be compassionate is to be strong. |
