It wasn't until later into their time as apprentices did Alderbranch really connect with his sister, after she revealed to him that she was plagued by the same darker thoughts he often is. Together, they've been hugely supportive of each other, providing a safe space to talk about their insecurities and anxieties, while also offering encouragement and tough love when it's needed. Though they're close as siblings, neither of them would necessarily call the other a friend, as they're still learning that aspect of their relationship.

Other than what's described here and in Alderbranch's bio, Robinheart is pretty flexible! Her name, gender, appearance, personality, pretty much everything can be changed. She just has to be the same age as Alderbranch and also should struggle with anxiety/depression/intrusive thoughts/etc., however you want to frame her darker moods that she and Alderbranch bond over.

Unfortunately, Alderbranch and Ottersplash have never had any sort of real relationship since leaving the nursery. Even then, Ottersplash spent more time with Robinheart, while Alderbranch went off to be a menace. They're definitely friendly to each other, and recently they've both made efforts to take meals together, but there's still a long way to go before they're friends.

The reasons for Ottersplash's distance from her brother are completely up to her player. She could've been trying to be friends all along, only to go missed by Alderbranch's obliviousness. Or maybe she has a deep distaste for Alderbranch, spurned by his antics as a kit. Completely up to you! Her gender, appearance, name, personality, etc. are also up to the player. She must be the same age as Alderbranch.

Ravenwhisker was young when he decided he wanted to be Alderbranch's friend. Younger than when their actual friendship started, back when they were in the nursery and Alderbranch was a scary older kit he was told not to play with. The moment he had the chance, Ravenwhisker initiated a proper friendship with Alderbranch, and the two have been best friends ever since.

Please be familiar with Alderbranch's bio to get a good idea of his relationship with Ravenwhisker, including their brief split when they were apprentices. Details of Ravenwhisker's personality are up to the player, but he should be kept blunt, studious, and deeply invested in MistClan's storytelling traditions. He should also be in training under the historian. His name, gender, and appearance are open to change.

Alderbranch is a popular cat in MistClan, so it stands to reason that he has plenty of friends! I don't have anything specific in mind for these characters, just that though they're considered friends, none of them really know Alderbranch. He does a great job keeping other cats at length so they don't see the "rotten" cat he thinks he is. I'd love for him to have some friends who try to bridge the distance between them and get closer!

Alderbranch's parents had three litters before him and his siblings. Again, I don't have anything in mind for these cats, but if you're interested in a family connection let me know! The three litters are around 45-46 moons, 54  moons, and 63-64 moons, as their mother was a perma-queen and had her litters more or less back to back. First come first serve on specific litter ages!

If he doesn't pursue a romance with Ravenwhisker, I'd love for Alderbranch to learn about the mortifying ordeal of being known and explore romance with another cat. I have no specific ideas for this character, other than a general age range. They would need to be a little stubborn and determined to really get to know Alderbranch, since he likes to keep cats at a distance. As a note this cat would have to be in MistClan. Alderbranch tried the cross-clan forbidden romance once and the guilt he experienced was so bad it nearly drove him mad. Never again.
